Privacy Policy
This notice explains how Dreamkid LLC handles personal information through DarinOliver.com. It is written for visitors in the United States, including California residents, and also describes rights that may apply in other locations. Cookie information and choices are explained separately in the Cookie Policy.

Information we collect
We collect information only when it is needed to operate the site or when you choose to provide it. Depending on which features are active, this may include:
- Contact information: your email address and subscription preferences if you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter.
- Consent and preference information: your cookie choices, chosen site language, consent date, and a random browser-level consent identifier used to remember those choices.
- Usage and device information: information generated by cookies or similar technologies, such as pages viewed, device/browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and interactions with the site, but only when the relevant feature or provider is activated.
- Communications: information you include if you contact us directly.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, precise geolocation, payment-card information, or personal information from children under 13. The site is not directed to children.
How and why we use information
- Site operation and preferences: to make the site work, keep it secure, remember cookie choices and language selections, and respond to requests.
- Newsletter and CRM: to send the communications you request. We rely on your opt-in consent, and every newsletter will provide an unsubscribe option.
- Analytics: to understand how visitors use the site, using Google Analytics only where the applicable cookie choice allows it.
- Advertising and embedded content: only when those services are activated and as described in the Cookie Policy and consent controls.
Notice at collection for California residents
At or before collection, California residents are notified of the categories of personal information collected and the purposes described above. We collect contact information when you subscribe, consent/preference information to honor your choices, and usage/device information only when the applicable site technology is enabled. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless and until a relevant advertising technology is activated and the Cookie Policy and consent controls are updated accordingly.
Who receives information
We use service providers to host the site, deliver newsletters, and provide analytics. Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, is used to understand aggregated website use when the applicable cookie choice allows it. We may later use providers for CRM, embedded content, or advertising only after the relevant feature is activated and this policy and the Cookie Policy are updated. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including legal, security, and recordkeeping needs. If you subscribe, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, unless limited information must be retained for a legal obligation. The consent-choice cookie is retained for 30 days. Google Analytics retention and controls are configured in our Google Analytics property. Actual retention details for any future providers will be added before those providers are activated.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your U.S. state of residence and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a portable copy, information about disclosures, and to opt out of certain processing such as targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or certain profiling. California residents may also have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment for exercising privacy rights. We do not currently sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
To submit a privacy request, email legal@simplyalpha.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Please state your name, state of residence, the request you are making, and an email address at which we can respond. We may need to verify your request using information reasonably necessary for that purpose. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and your identity.
Other privacy rights
Where other privacy laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant privacy authority. To make a request, use the contact method above.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Dreamkid LLC processes personal data only where a lawful basis applies: your consent (for example, a newsletter subscription or optional cookies where consent is required); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the site; performance of a contract or steps requested before one; or compliance with a legal obligation. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
Because Dreamkid LLC is based in the United States, information may be processed in the United States or another country where an approved service provider operates. Before activating a provider that involves an international transfer, we will identify the provider and use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another legally recognized safeguard.
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Changes to this policy
We may update this notice when the site’s services or legal requirements change. The current effective date will appear at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
